On August 3, 2017, Tewksbury Lodge members and friends attended the Lowell Spinners vs. Hudson Valley Renegades baseball game at LeLacheur Park in Lowell.

The summer event was organized by lodge member Lenny Errera.  Preceding the game, attendees enjoyed a cookout served by the Lelacheur Park staff in the
stadium pit.  Our group cheered on the Spinners who won the game 2 to 1.

On May 29th, to honor veterans who have fallen for our freedom, the Tewksbury  Sons of Italy celebrated Memorial Day by participating in two major events.  The day started with a 5K race, held at the Tewkbury Country Club and jointly sponsored by the Rotary Club and the Lion's Club.
In addition to our lodge's  $500 donation, several of our members ran in the race.  In the afternoon our lodge participated in the Tewksbury Memorial Day Parade with a float recreating an Italian garden.

On June 28, 2017, the Tewksbury Sons of Italy, Lodge # 2872, awarded four scholarships in the amount of five hundred dollars each to four outstanding Tewksbury's seniors.

The Lodge also provided a delicious meal to honor the recipients, prepared by Chef Joel  and  sponsored by Joel and Lodge President Deborah Deputat.

On Tuesday October 3rd, the Tewksbury Sons of Italy held at the Tewksbury Country Club its annual Pizza Festival.

Over 200 members and guests attended the event with proceeds being used to fund the lodge's charitable programs.

Several local vendors provided the pizza and Marc Ginsburg generously offered the use of the venue gratis.

On July 15, 2017 The Tewksbury Sons of Italy joined the Wilmington Sons  of Italy for a fun filled day at Salisbury beach.

The day started with a breakfast of pancakes, sausages and fresh fruits.

After breakfast families were able to enjoy some time at the beach and the playground.

Chief cook Charlie DeStefano fired up the grill and all enjoyed, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks for lunch.
